Core Advantages
Micron-Level Profile Accuracy
Our diamonds are precision-lapped using advanced Swiss-type technology to ensure the radius (R) and included angle (V) are perfectly centered, eliminating form distortion during CNC paths.
CVD vs. Natural Expertise
We offer Natural Diamonds for the highest edge sharpness and CVD logs for superior thermal stability and uniform cross-sections, ensuring constant contact area throughout the tool life.
High Thermal Resistance
Specialized vacuum brazing and high-conductivity shanks dissipate heat rapidly, preventing diamond “graphitization” and protecting the integrity of the lapped profile.
Relapping Service
To maximize your ROI, we offer professional relapping services for high-quality forming tools, restoring the original geometry for a fraction of the cost of a new tool.
Installation & Usage Guidelines
Centerline Alignment: The chisel point diamond must be positioned exactly on the wheel’s horizontal centerline or 1/32″ (approx. 0.8mm) below. Never position it above the center, as this leads to profile errors.
Drag Angle Setting: Mount the tool with a 10° to 15° clearance angle relative to the wheel radius to ensure clean cutting and prevent “digging”.
Infeed & Traverse: For precision forming, keep the infeed ($a_d$) between 0.005mm and 0.015mm. Use a constant traverse rate to avoid “steps” in the profile.
Coolant Precision: Direct a steady, high-pressure flood of coolant exactly at the point of contact before the dress cycle begins to avoid thermal shock.
