Robust Impregnated Diamond Dresser & Grit Dressers

The ultimate solution for heavy-duty truing of large and wide grinding wheels. Yangtze Diamond Tools’ impregnated dressers feature a self-sharpening metal matrix that continuously exposes fresh diamond grit, ensuring consistent dressing performance without the need for tool rotation.

Impregnated Diamond Dresser

Self-Sharpening Bond

New diamonds are automatically exposed as the metal matrix wears down.

Extreme Heat Resistance

Designed to withstand harsh conditions that would crack single-point diamonds.

Zero Indexing Required

Maintenance-free operation for maximum machine uptime.

Core Advantages

Premium Grit Quality

We utilize only high-concentration, industrial-grade diamonds. This ensures that even in rough dressing, the tool maintains a stable material removal rate without “glazing” the wheel.

Maintenance-Free “Grit”
Structure

Unlike single-stone tools, grit dressers do not have a single point that wears flat. You can use the tool from start to finish without any manual rotation or indexing, making it ideal for high-production environments.

Superior Tool Life & Stability

The multiple-point contact distributes the dressing load, reducing the risk of sudden tool failure and providing the longest service life among all stationary dressers.

Consistent “Open” Wheel
Surface

Our advanced sintered bond technology is designed to produce a sharp and open wheel topography, which reduces grinding force and prevents workpiece burning.

Installation & Usage Guide

Full Face Contact: Unlike single-point tools, impregnated dressers should be mounted to have full face contact with the wheel. No drag angle is typically required ($0^$ to $5^$ is acceptable).

Traverse Speed Control: A common mistake is using a traverse speed that is too slow. To maintain the tool's self-sharpening effect, ensure a consistent traverse rate $v_d$ that prevents the matrix from becoming too "closed".

Infeed Depth: For roughing, recommend an infeed of 0.02mm – 0.04mm. For finishing, 0.01mm – 0.015mm ensures a fine surface finish.

Coolant is Crucial: Due to the large contact area, significant heat is generated. Continuous flood coolant must be applied before contact to prevent thermal shock to the diamond grit.
